APWU ‘Dictatorship’ in San Diego?

That’s the opinion, apparently, of one APWU member, who has set up a blog entitled ‘APWU Dictatorship’. You can read his complaints against local President Rick Cornelius at APWUDictatorship.blogspot.com, and you can read Cornelius’s side at the official APWU local site, titled, interestingly enough, not APWU197.org, as it once was, but “UnionRick.com“.

    union rick is NOT the san diego official web site it is ricky’s own site

    You’re correct- the confusion came from the fact that Cornelius had registered the domain apwu197.org, which I mistook (understandably I think) for the local’s official site, which is actually sandiegoapwu197.org. He apparently moved the content from apwu197.org to unionrick.com early in 2006. The other thing that’s odd is that there are apparently no links between the official site and Ricky’s site, even though Ricky’s site does link to other APWU local’s sites.
