    This is common practice in all POs. The OIG Inspectors could find this in every PO in the country.
    And as always is the case, Letter Carriers take the fall for managements pratices and tactics. You can guarntee that no supervisor will stand up to defend any employee.

    no it is not the clerks discarding mail, it is the carriers discarding mail and the clerks throw it out after the carriers. the clerks do not know if it is addresses correctly, only the carriers do.

    Cindy, when will the craft unions finally get it? Quit blaming each other and co-exist or become one. If the carriers and clerks could cross crafts there would be a little less complaining about who did what and who gets more hours. As you probably have seen, you can not stay the course! Become one and let the public know who really delivers for the USPS and it sure is not the management! But there will be a huge bonus for them kicking your butts out the door delivering mail with very little assistance. See if your local management team will share in the wealth they receive from craft busting their butts. Looks like a good $$$$$$ bonus for management. Have you seen the numbers? Great work craft!!!!! I mean ALL craft and you should become ONE! Try it!
