Job stress? There have been far more incidents of violence in High Schools than in the Post Office.
I’d like to ask the reporter if his job is stress-free. Does he get to do whatever, and whenever he wants? Does no one hold him accountable?
Does he earn $50,000 and have no responsibilities, or be held accountable for anything?

I feel that the postal service is a hazard to any laborers health.

I think the problem is within the postal service. First all you have to look at the fact that this is a good paying job with good benefits. It is hard to find a job with or without a degree that starts off with such good pay and benefits as this job. Some people feel trapped in a way by this. Another problem is the nit picking that they do. They nag at you about little things and it just makes no sense. Another thing is that one employee can get away with murder and another can’t do the slightest thing. It’s not fair. Another thing is the crazy hours that they make everyone work. Sometimes you go into work and you don’t know if you’ll work 8,10,or 12 hours. Then the poor PTF’s( Part Time Flexibles), they have all kinds of different hours that they come to work each night. It’s hard to have a stable home life, especially if you have a partner and/or kids at home. And even if you make regular you may not get but one day off of work. Most ptf’s only get one day off anyway. Excuse me that’s one night off. Working like this in one night you only have time to catch up on your rest. Now you figure all of this up with a partner and kids at home constantly wanting attention and time that you just don’t have to give because you just can’t seem to get on track. Sure enough there is stress on every job, but the postal service is in a class of it’s own.
