The number is for Hersheys, but Sue who. Obviously, this is a poorly executed PR event. One would expect the company to devote some of its profits distributing widely the winning information; posters at the USPS seems like a no brainer.

I will certainly examine the investments in time and effort required another sweepstakes.

Nestle seems to capturing my attention these days because of the lack of such sour-tasting PR concoctions.

I spoke with Sue at 717 534 - 7641 She confirmed the correct # of kisses was 1,576
there were 108 people who guessed correctly and they were all entered into a drawing. One person won the grand prize from those 108 entries. the other winners were selected randomly for the 100 other prizes.

Good question- if someone has a copy of the complete rules, there should be an address where you could write. I have no idea why no information was posted on the web.

The page http://www.guessandwinsweeps.com seems to have disappeared, but I found this on the Google cache of the page:

"The correct number of HERSHEY'S KISSES. Brand Chocolates it takes to fill a Priority Mail. Flat Rate Box is 1,576. Since more than one entrant guessed the exact number (1,576), a random drawing occurred from among all correct entries received to award the Grand Prize."
