More money than common sense- another wrong way mailbox story
We told you in December about the couple in Illinois who were trying to get their Postmaster fired because they’d been told their mailbox was on the wrong side of the road. Apparently when you spend $900 on a brick mailbox, you don’t want to be told it’s on the wrong place. The best part of the story was the punch line- the jokers with the fancy mailbox are former postal workers.
Well now we can go the Manhattanites one better- here’s a couple in yet another tacky yet overpriced subdivision who were just so proud of having spent $1,200 on their mailbox! And then they got the bad news- yup, wrong side of the street.
