Rita-

Thanks for the insights- I'll fire that reporter!

As you noted in your second comment, though, the story was just a press release from a company trying to sell another unnecessary stop-the-junk-mail 'service'- what can I say? It was a slow day for news, and they actually had some data, however dubious, to go with their come on.

You're right about the definition of 'baby boomer', but you might want to check your Woodstock math: a person who's 65 today would have been 27 back then. And as a matter of fact, both John Rosenman and Artie Kornfeld, two of the organizers of the event, were born in 1942, so they both turn 65 this year. And if that's not enough, Richie Havens, the opening act on the first day, is 66, Grace Slick is 67, and Wavy Gravy is 71!

In case, you don't follow up with good research to determine what is wrong with your news release, let me help by going to that bastion of information (which in this case is far superior to what ever source you used).

A baby boomer is a person born between 1946 and 1963 in Australia, Canada or the United States.
Source: The always "reliable" Wikipedia. :)

Hint: That is ages from about 44 to 61

I think your reporter needs a little math education or history lesson. If over 65 (meaning 65 to 90 or more) is considered a baby boomer, I want to meet those 65 and older year olds who went to Woodstock.
