Do you postal workers forget EEO Is paid by the postal service. There will be no justice for you until a outside, non postal, board takes over EEO one that is paid by officials that are not swayed by the postal service. I had an EEO counselor tell me that if my health and wellfair were being affected by management and other employees then why would i stay at the post office why wouldnt i get a new job. This after working 20 years in that department. My problem came with a new employee and went when that employee went to a different job. God luck guys.

The problem with EEO’s is that many are filed on issues that are Contractual in nature, not EEO. The contractual unions major problem with EEO’s is that very few of their stewards are trained in how to prepare or present an EEO appeal. This is the main reason why most craft employees have little or no faith in the EEO process. But, keep in mind, every time an EEO complaint gets to the investigative stage, the cash register is open, and win or lose MANAGEMENT HAS TO FOOT THE BILL.

EEO is a joke! Every time you try to get an employee to do their job they file an EEO complaint. Over the years I’ve had them filed for almost everything imaginable. Weight, Color, Religion, Sex (Male and Female) and Age. It used to worry me until I found that they must prove their case. None of the claims have ever been founded. If the employees were charged for false claims they would quit filing every time they became angry.

Once again management trys to convince people that every clerk, carrier, mail handler, and custodian are the scum of the earth, lazy good for nothings, when in actuality the percentage of these kind of workers is very, very, small, just like in any other business.

Oh yeah EEO…management tells employees to do their job and its harassment. Please….no people skills? You’re right we deal with overgrown children all day. We should be trained by school teachers on how to deal with spoiled brats.

i know what you are going through. management lied and cheated about my eeo case. eeo is a joke but you have to follow through to file a lawsuit or get a congressman involved.it is a shame that postal mangement have no real people skills. and you wonder why the postal service is in bad shape.not only the mail volume is hurting the usps.but the way unprofessional managers run the business

What a crock. EEO is a joke in most cases. Drag this out and the harassment continues. Try working in an atmosphere of continued harassment. I’ve been there, and it’s not much fun. Extremely STRESSFUL.
