It would save a ton of money. There is no reason to pay a Postmaster in every little spot on the road {and off}. PM's in towns with no more than 500 people are making over $55,000 per year, PLUS benefits. You can go to datauniverse.com to see what YOUR local PO employees make. You might be surprised.
