Senator Jon Tester is absolutley right. Cutting saturday is not the answer to the problem. Easy fixes seldom are the right method to problem solving. I am with you Senator.

We have to face it now or later. there is not enough work to justify 6 day delivery. The union needs to work with the Postmaster General to find a way to implement this policy. I have seen carriers and clerks adjust their lifestyle and budget on the overtime they are making with the 6 day work week. this is the first employees to voice against it. never adjust your lifestyle on monies you dont know you will even earn! Go for it Mr Potter, we want weekends off!!!!!

It’s not a question of overtime- it’s a question of the 25,000 full time letter carriers that will be eliminated. I guess you’re pretty confident that you won’t be one of the 25,000?

Jon Tester is an idiot. Vote him out also. They either need to shut up or work with the postal to save sat. delivery. I see nothing but lip service from congress.
